“…inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

My youngest daughter sent me a link to a most wonderful interview about a young woman by the name of Katie Davis (I am sure many of you have heard of her) who is spending her life raising orphans in Uganda.  The picture here is of Katie at the age of around 21, with her 14 daughters.

Katie is definitely living out what Jesus said:

Matthew 25:37–40
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Secret Church…The Body of Christ

 

I just spent seven glorious hours hanging out with about fifty other people learning about what the church is supposed to be all about…according to the Bible.  It is hard to believe how quickly the time passed learning all about the church and realizing how far we have devolved from what God intended it to be.  Oh what a great inspiration and encouragement David Platt’s teaching on ‘The Body of Christ’ was to me.

I hope and pray that each of you would take the time to listen to and follow along with the study guid from this extremely important subject of understanding what Jesus desires His church, His bride to be.  I promise you that it will be well worth your while.
