At one point or another in every person’s life, they look for true love. In fact, sadly enough, there are a lot of people who never find it. They will do anything for another’s approval and yet never fully recieve it.
She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.
True love is only possible when it is birthed out of the love that Jesus demonstrated for us when He went to the cross.
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
And why did Jesus do this? In order that our sins might be forgiven. Wow!
Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”
This is true love, to die for someone who has done nothing for you. In fact who has sinned against you, and with no other motivation than true love, He laid down His life for us that we might truly live. We will never know true love or be able to love others truly, until we embrace this truth about Jesus’ love for us.
